ハリウッド黎明期に一世を風靡した喜劇コンビ、ローレル&ハーディの晩年を描く。黄金時代は遥か昔に過ぎ去って忘れ去られ、体力も衰えた二人の間には亀裂が生じていた。最後と決めて出かけたヨーロッパツアーだったが、往年のファンたちの前で公演を重ねるうち、お互いの大切さを再確認し舞台への情熱を取り戻していく・・・。
